13 Romantic Sunset Valentine’s Dinner on the Train Sam Shortline.  Enjoy a romantic Italian dinner while parked over Lake Blackshear at sunset. 5:30-7 pm. Reservations required.

Dublin

11th   Theatre Dublin. A Midsummer Night’s Dream presented by The National Players. Student Matinee 10 a.m. and 7:30 pm evening performance

13th   Fairy Princess Ball at Riverview Auditorium. 6-9 pm. First ever Fairy Princess Ball by the Dublin Laurens County Recreation Authority. Moms and Daughters come dressed as your favorite princess and enjoy a magical night full of music, food, nail art, make up, crafts. Horse and Carriage Rides to enjoy!

24-27  Dublin Spring Fair located at the Civitain Fairgrounds. 6-10 pm. $3 Admission.Stroll under the bright lights of the carnival midway with fun games, exciting rides and carnival food. Unlimited armbands for the rides.

27 Crusin the Pines Car Show Southern Pines Regional Park 9am-2pm. On-site registration 9am-11am, $20 per vehicle and includes one meal ticket for the concession stand. Spectators welcome. Admission is Free.

27 Dine in the Pines. 4 pm-8 pm Southern Pines Regional Park. With tasting samples from local eateries and live music by Big Daddy & Co., Dine in the Pines offers a taste of Dublin’s nationally acclaimed cuisine, regional favorites, and hometown flavors. $5 Admission includes 2 food tokens.

12 Father & Daughter Dance An Evening in Paris at the Museum of Arts and Sciences. 7-9 pm. Tickets required.

13 Wesleyan Market  on the front lawn at Wesleyan College on Forsyth Rd. 9 am-1 pm. Lots of vendors and live bluegrass music.

19 Macon Pops Concert Songs of the South at Cox Capitol Theatre. 7:30 pm R&B, Hip Hop, Gospel and Soul music. Special guests include: Floco Torres, Taryn Newborne, The Macon Pops All-Star Gospel Choir and Musicians from the Otis Redding Foundation.

20-21 Middle Ga. Comic Convention at Macon Centreplex Convention Center. 9 am. Dealer’s room, Artist Alley, Panels, Workshops, Costume Contests and more.

25-26 Greater Macon Sleepout Come take part in Daybreak’s only fundraising event of the year! You can help raise money that helps the homeless in Macon by sleeping rough – under the stars – for one night – in the park. Each sleeper agrees to raise $1,000 for the privilege of sleeping in the open, in the cold, in February. Call Daybreak at (478) 216-9119 to hear a recording about the Sleepout.
