Add the pink candy melts to a small microwave safe bowl and melt at 20 second intervals, stirring between each until they are completely melted. You can use about one teaspoon of coconut oil to thin the melted candies and make them spread easier. Simply stir it into the melted pink candies.
Then spread the melted candy coating over the top of the Strawberry Rice Crispies, using the back of a spoon or an offset spatula. Make some pretty swirls in the icing as you spread. The swirls will add a pretty texture to this simple and easy dessert treat.
Place the ½ cup white candy melts in the piping bag. Heat in the microwave for 20 seconds. Mash, flip the bag over, and heat for an additional 20 seconds. While that is melting, add in the coconut oil and stir. The coconut oil will melt during the stirring process. If necessary, you can heat about 15 seconds more.
Cut a small hole in the tip of your piping bag and draw white candy lines horizontally on top of the pink candy icing. Working quickly, use a skewer or toothpick to draw a line straight down thorough the white icing and then another one straight up. Continue this design until you have covered the top of the rice krispy treats.
Place your baking dish loaded with pretty pink and white decorated Strawberry Rice Krispies treats into the refrigerator for about 30 before slicing. This will ensure that the icing is well set and you will get a nice even slices.
Slice, serve and enjoy!
