Microwave Green Beans

  • (1) lb. Fresh whole green beans
  • 1 Cup chicken broth or water
  • Dash of Sea Salt
  • ½ Cup Pecan halves slightly toasted
  1. Prepare 1 lb. of  fresh green beans by snipping of the tip ends.
  2. Place the beans into a shallow microwave safe bowl with lid.
  3. Pour about 1 cup of water or Chicken broth over beans and cover with lid
  4. Microwave on high for about 5-7 minutes. You want the beans to be steamed but crisp.
  5. Once done, toss with a nice sprinkling of sea salt and the toasted pecans.
  6. Serve and Enjoy
