Stovetop Grilled Cabbage Steaks with Bacon

A quick and easy fresh vegetable entree good any time of the year
  • 1 medium head of cabbage
  • 6 pieces of bacon
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  1. Slice the cabbage into about ½ inch thick pieces, 'steaks'
  2. Place the cabbage steaks and the bacon side by side on the griddle
  3. Cook on medium high heat
  4. Turn the bacon and the cabbage steaks over about half way through cooking
  5. Drain bacon and paper toweling.
  6. Serve with your favorite cornbread or rolls
  7. Enjoy!
