I am calling Meal Plan #53 Chicken, Bacon and Broccoli because we’re cooking them all just not at the same time!
With temps reaching the 90’s already, it’s time for less cooking and lighter weeknight dinners. Personally I enjoy sandwiches more this time of the year. Do you?
Good old fashioned Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sandwiches on loaf bread! That’s how you know what season it is. We love these and only plan to have chips with them.
We ‘fry’ our bacon in the oven and slather our bread with Dukes mayonnaise. Heavy on the pepper and lite on the salt is how I prefer mine.
It’s only 7 ingredients and so delicious. The hubby always looks forward to this dish on the menu and there are always leftovers for the next day.

Friday: Leftovers from Thursday
Vegetables this week: Carrots,Potatoes, Onions, Mushrooms, Corn, Lettuce and Broccoli
