We’re Not Chicken is my pet name for our Menu Plan #16 because there are four meals involving chicken.
My Momma used to baffle at how much I loved chicken and how often I enjoyed it. I can easily convince my hubby to enjoy it too by preparing it in his favorite recipes. Four of the seven menu ideas here have chicken as an ingredient in this week’s menu plan.
We’re having our Stovetop Grilled Easy Chicken Parmigiana for Sunday dinner. It’s one of our newer recipes which quickly became requested.
We’re firing up the grill tonight and making an easy one dish dinner with our Chicken Broccoli & Yam’s Campfire Foil Packet Dinner!
I like to serve my Broccoli & Cherry Tomato Parmesan Pasta Salad on a bed of lettuce. It’s certainly ok if you don’t serve your pasta salad on lettuce but it provides a little crunch bite at the end which we love.
We’re having Spaghetti! Good old fashioned, ‘you-don’t-need-a-recipe’ pot of Spaghetti.
I’ll use a jar of my hubby’s favorite store bought sauce, brown and drain 1 lb. of ground turkey and boil some thin spaghetti. We fix our plate at the stove to make clean up easier. We have a scrumptious recipe for baked spaghetti here, but tonight, it’s going to be simple.
Chicken Quesadillas are on the menu for tonight! I hope to share the recipe this week along with a couple of pictures. We’ve been enjoying a lot of lighter fare food during the summer and this in one of our selections.
Skillet Cabbage, Rice & Sausage One Dish Dinner Recipe is on the Friday menu because we will enjoy the leftovers on Saturday. Don’t you just love coming up with a Cook Once Eat Twice menu on Friday? It sure makes Saturday’s more pleasant!
This menu allows us to enjoy chicken, sausage, cabbage, broccoli, yams, mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, brown rice, fresh Parmesan cheese and more!
