This is the final post in the Stress Less This Thanksgiving Series. It’s been so much fun planning, preparing and cooking ahead. Thanksgiving is really one of my favorite days of the year. It is such a relaxing day with family. We host at our home but each family brings their most favored dishes. Everyone stays on into the night while the conversations continue. We tend to move from the whole build up to Thanksgiving right straight into Black Friday, Christmas shopping and preparing for Christmas Day.
The last thing I want to share with you is to simply use the microwave to make one of the most popular dishes on Thanksgiving Day. If there is one dish probably served in most homes on Thanksgiving Day, it is likely green beans in some form.
Prepare your fresh green beans and place them into a shallow microwave safe bowl. Pour about 2-3 Tbsp. water or Chicken broth over beans. Microwave on high for about 3-4 minutes. You want the beans to be steamed but crisp. Once done, toss with a nice sprinkling of sea salt, serve and enjoy!
I recently came across this awesome recipe for a delicious Fall beverage from fellow blogger Alli at An Alli Event. She calls it Mocha Punch! There is ice cream and chocolate syrup involved!! Alli has a free printable Mocha Punch recipe here. This punch is delicious and will really impress your guest!
